Hello everyone! My name is Ava, and I am from Columbus, Indiana. I am a current junior at Miami University majoring in Social Work and minoring in Disability Studies. I decided to major in Social Work because I have always been drawn to working with people. My goal in life is to get my masters degree in Family and Marriage and Counseling.

I would describe myself as a very fun, outgoing, and social person. I have no problem meeting new people! Some of my favorite things that I enjoy doing are volunteering, going to concerts, being outside, working out, playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and family members, cooking, and traveling!

I have had lots of experience when it comes to working with people of all ages, including children, teens, and older adults. One of my biggest strengths is being able to actively listen and communicate effectively with others and I hope to use these skills to the best of my ability in each of the sessions. My hope is to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for each client where we can openly communicate about any accomplishments, challenges, or struggles that are occurring in their lives at the moment. With that in mind, I am super excited to serve each and everyone of you as a BeSomeone coach!
