The BeSomeone Vision
A Generational Call to Action for the Youth of the World
“You never change things by fighting against the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the old model obsolete.” – Buckminster Fuller
If we told you that you could be part of a youth movement that completely transformed the world within six years, would you be interested in learning more? Then read on…
We don’t need to tell you our world is broken – global warming, poverty, social injustice, hot and cold and even angry culture wars are just a few of the problems your generation will unfairly inherit.

The next generation will need next-level skills to solve global challenges, but today’s industrial-age school systems are struggling to adapt. Most are still focused on grading narrow sets of academic content and standardized tests that leave two-thirds of students disengaged.
Simply put, the system is failing. 4 out of 5 students either never enroll in college, drop out, or graduate and wind up underemployed while deep in debt. 89% of business leaders believe our education system fails to prepare students for future success.
Even worse, student anxiety, depression, loneliness, and even suicide are at all-time highs while teachers are overwhelmed, burning out, and quitting in droves.
We tell 100% of students they need to be in the top 10% to be successful and then wonder why they’re so stressed out?!
This inhumane system is designed to treat students as gladiators in an educational tournament where both the winners and losers face a life of anxiety, rather than holistically developing the different talents of each student so everyone can thrive.
Who can blame you for numbing with video and social media status games, or even drugs and alcohol?

Truly staggering amounts of human potential are being wasted, with countless bright minds dispirited by a system that should be nurturing them.
Passively trusting this system to prepare your generation for the future will lead to the same inevitable disappointment and dysfunction experienced by previous generations that created our broken world.
“We cannot solve our problems at the same level of thinking that created them.”
- Albert Einstein
This new generation needs a huge step-change in both capabilities and consciousness. We must rise above broken politics and institutions to transform into a more compassionately conscious society capable of tackling complex global challenges.

Throughout history, human values have slowly evolved ever-widening levels of caring from self to family to tribe to nation to all of humanity and even towards all of life. But now this social evolution has to accelerate rapidly if we want to save ourselves before we destroy ourselves.
This is one of life’s highest purposes: pushing humanity’s social evolution forward by growing your own and others’ higher compassionate consciousness.
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
- Gandhi
(I.e., “Make yourself better so you can make the world better.”)
At this point you’re thinking, “That sounds great, but how the heck do we do that?! And not only do that, but do it at scale on a global level?”
Well, it starts with recognizing you have access to technology no previous generations had access to.

Not only do you have all the world’s knowledge at your fingertips, but you can now instantly video meet and collaborate with anybody on the planet at any time (how freakin’ amazing is that?!). And there’s more good news: research shows that the young brain does not fully mature until your mid-20s, so you’ll never be at a better age to shape your and your peers’ values and thinking.

This generation is the first in history that literally has the power to holistically coach each other into the highest and best versions of yourselves, just as a good athletic coach helps you develop your best athletic self. Even better, life coaching will change you as much as it changes others - the best way to really learn something is to teach it!
Helping others to help ourselves
This is where you object, “I’m just a teen! I don’t know enough to coach anybody!” Not true.

All of us have the wisdom to help coach younger students – you’ve already been through what they’re going through now. And we’ll provide you with plenty of guidance, from content to training to support groups to your own peer coach to take you through it first.

And that’s where the real magic is: if every young coach trains up another coach with an hour a week for ten weeks, who then goes on to do the same (i.e., doubling the number of coaches every 10 weeks), then after 300 weeks (2^30) that’s over a billion young people coached to their highest and best selves in only six years!! And that’s how you transform the youth capabilities and culture of the planet by 2029!
We are building a global network of teens and young adults to coach each other to become the highest and best versions of ourselves - and we want YOU to join!
Imagine a world…
where everybody flourishes and fully develops their unique talents regardless of where they go to school or what college they get into.
Imagine an entire global generation that is highly self-aware, creative, disciplined, kind, empathetic, purpose-driven, and committed to making a positive impact on the world.
They are dedicated to self-improvement, always pushing themselves to be the best they can be, and are highly motivated by a sense of purpose to make a difference in the world. They strive for innovation and are not satisfied with the status quo - especially when it comes to sustainability and alleviating suffering - and are always exploring new ideas and perspectives.
At the same time, they are highly ethical and value fairness and justice for all. They are empathetic and able to understand and appreciate different perspectives and beliefs, transcending and healing angry culture wars, while always striving for compassion and peace.
They're also really good at working with other people and building strong relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. They are courageous, entrepreneurial, willing to take risks to do what is right, and are highly skilled in their craft. They remain calm and focused under pressure, and are able to adapt to changing situations.
Overall, a generation of true leaders, committed to making the world a better place and inspiring others to do the same.
Now imagine the impact that generation would have on the world…
If that motivates you as much as it does us, join the BeSomeone movement today for as little as a couple hours a week and be a part of the youth revolution that will change the world!
Making ourselves better so
we can make the world better
