Hi! My name is Daniel, and I’m a high school senior from Walnut, California. In my free time, I love playing video games (Brawl Stars and Overwatch to name a few), watching movies with my friends, playing golf, shopping (especially online), and playing the piano. I also do a lot of volunteer work, including tutoring younger children and helping in food shelters. At school, I’m involved in FBLA, NHS, and my school’s student council.

I joined BeSomeone because my school doesn’t offer much mental support for its students. I’ve witnessed so many people sitting alone at lunch and being ignored by others, and some feel uncomfortable talking about their struggles with adults. I aspire to encourage and guide them in a safe space and help them achieve their life goals. As someone who didn't feel they could fit in with the crowd, I understand many of the issues people my age struggle with, and I hope to redirect them on the right track. It makes me so happy to see others gain their confidence and succeed in their youth journeys!
